Today was the official start of the vacation in other words the epic voyage began. This morning we started from Maya cove Tortola and sailed to the baths at Virgin gorda. At the baths we crawled, climbed and hiked our way through the magnificent boulders that had somehow formed a formation called The cave. Some boulders were as big as a house and they were stacked as only God's hand could do. On top of each each other creating a secret passage to Devils Cove.
Once in the cave we swam in little pools formed by the waves and they were just filed with wildlife. We saw fish right out of Finding Nemo, blue ones like Dori, yellow front of the boat and watched and zebra fish, There were a bunch of lizards that we think were Geckos like we have in Texas. These were bigger than the ones at home and moved faster.
After our time at the Baths we sailed to Marina Key for the night! Dad set up the hammock and William and Connor swam off the back of the boat with Dad. We took turns in the hammmock and ate grilled burgers and potatoes on the front of the boat and watched a rain burst come in.
Tonight we tied a glow stick to a line and threw it in the dark water to watch fish....
